Why on earth do people still smoke cigarettes on a regular basis? I mean.....when I go outside to get some fresh air, I expect the scent of grass and trees and flowers and a nice breeze. Unfortunately, I am often greeted with the scent of cigarette smoke. I mean.....smoking isn't even cool anymore!! Smoking was cool when James Dean did it and when Don Draper portrays a cool guy in the 60's, but smoking on your lunch break by yourself is just sad. I mean come on.
Okay, even though I still don't approve this, the only acceptable time I can see it being anywhere near cool is when people smoke when they are drunk on a Saturday night. That's it though.
The "best" is when I see people driving their car in the winter with the window cracked open so they can smoke their cigarette while driving without suffocating from toxic secondhand smoke. Let's identify why this scenario is ridiculous: freezing cold air blowing into the car, but you are staying warm by blasting the car's heat while inhaling hot cigarette smoke with each toxic puff all while being careful to tap the ashes out the window without smoldering ashe flying into your back seat and ensuring you blow the cigarette smoke out the window because god forbid your car begins to wreak like cigarette smoke.
Also, I cannot stand when people flick their nasty cigarette out their window while driving. It turns me into the hulk and I get major road rage. I actually purposely try to dodge the little flaming tar stick so my car doesn't go near it. Yeah, sure that will work. Cigarettes are like the one thing that people don't care about litering. Actually, I take that back: people who flick their nasty cigarette butt out the window of their car probably also toss other things out the window.
