I stopped drinking soda and other carbonated drinks a long time ago. Not for the typical health reasons. If I was concerned with my weight I would be stupid and drink "Diet Soda" (which I will get into later).
I stopped drinking carbonation because:1. Soda and carbonation made me feel full when I know I would not have felt full otherwise.
The carbonation filled me up making me feel full, but I would still get hungry quicker because those bubbles are filled with empty calories. Those carbonated bubbles made me feel full for a fraction of the time
2. Carbonated drinks made me a bit gasy and burp.
3. There is zero nutrition in soda.
Both unattractive qualities. Those qualities also made me very uncomfortable.
Great alcoholic alternative to drinking bubbles: Captain Morgan & Cranberry Juice, yes it is full of sugar, so just drink a small glass or a large glass with lots of ice to still get in some water!
